    This store is clean and has a good selection of food and drinks. However, the MTO food service is beyond incredibly slow. I have time to write this review because I have been waiting ten minutes for a frozen drink. There is a large crowd of people waiting with me. This is not the first time I've had a long wait at this location. I am very happy Sheetz is in our area, but they need to better staff the restaurant portion of the store.

    Sheetz is a genius business plan across the board. I love it. I would franchise one if I wasn't poor. But this one. Ugh this one. First of all the flow is terrible. So people coming and going from the pumps/car wash/drive thru do and lot of starting and stopping and the occasional gesturing if you're higher strung. Secondly it's not a very clean store at all. Thirdly...the MTO is sssssssssllllllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww and also kind of terrible. We'll circle back to the terrible but because the MTO is slow, the drive the is painfully slow. Back to the terrible, I once ordered a chef salad that had one tomato and two cucumber slices. I mean...that's absolutely comical. Really? Also, a couple of the pumps rewards cards scanners are broken so you can't get your three cents off a gallon or rewards points if you prepay at the pump. So you know...Sheetz, but not this Sheetz.

    Everytime I get a pretzel with salt here it is just plain dough with no salt whatsoever, the service here is terrible and I asked to cook the pretzel a little longer and i basically just got handed pizza dough.

    So I was coming back to my home town of Greensboro, NC coming from Louisville, KY.  As I was on my way home I stopped by this sheetz to use the restroom as I go in to one of the stalls where the toilets are I noticed on both walls carved out was two swazka and "KKK" written on the walls.  Being a black man coming home to this is not the welcoming feeling that I was looking for it.

    This is near by.. its convenient, and that being said, its not like my life revolves around Sheetz.. however, when Sheetz has it together, its good. (Together = Clean, well stocked, fully staffed)

    Last time I was at this location, I wanted something sweet: ordered one of their custom made "Milkshakes". . Cake batter flavor... It was weak on flavor and the consistency was thin and icy. To me, a milkshake should be thick, creamy, flavorful..  this was none of that. Not only that, but even though I only ordered a small, it started to separate half way through my drinking it: Again, thin, icy, weak. Definitely would not get another one. Even though this was only 1.99, it wasn't worth it. If they were giving these away, I wouldn't take one, because if Im going to "spend" the calories, it better be worth it... and this was not. They also have a new softserve machine, with chocolate and vanilla ice cream - pretty darn good, and only $2.99 per cup, which beats the HECK out of the local SweetFrog; Sweetfrog weighs your cup, which can get pricey. I mean, Sweetfrog does have "No weigh Wednesday", but still, even on that day Sweetfrog charges $4.00... but back to Sheetz.. Sheetz also has a frozen yogurt machine, and the vanilla is SO GOOD that I doubt that its really yogurt: tastes IDENTICAL to really good Vanilla soft serve ice cream! Makes me think they just might use the ice cream mix in the yogurt machine..but If it IS really yogurt, wow.. outstanding!
    The reason  I didnt give this location a better rating is because its often messy (and one time downright FILTHY) and the new ice cream machine seems to be "Temporarily out of order"  A LOT. Is it down for cleaning? Ok, well... you are open 24 hrs, so maybe you should clean the machine at 3 am when there are not many customers, vs 12 noon on a hot summer day when people want ice cream. One other complaint: the Sheetz loyalty card: why do you have to have a PHYSICAL Card? Why cant you just type in your phone number? Annoying. Definitely good for a quick hit, but other locations (Dobson, Elkin, andvthe new one in Winston) do it better.
